Stratford Coronavirus Update: Over 500 Cases Confirmed In Town

There were 23 more confirmed cases of the virus in town day-over-day as of Monday, bringing the total to 514 cases, the mayor's office said.

STRATFORD, CT — There were more than 500 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus as of Monday in Stratford, according to the mayor's office.

The office of Mayor Laura Hoydick reported 514 confirmed cases in an email to residents Monday evening. It represented a day-over-day increase of 23 cases. As of Monday, deaths in town associated with the virus held steady day-over-day, with the total number of fatalities remaining at 31, the email said.

Across Connecticut as of Monday, virus-associated deaths rose to 2,012, according to state data. There were 25,997 confirmed virus cases in the state as of Monday.
