Experience: Current 9th District Councilman

Family in government: No

The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:

Our mill rate and the need to lower it by expanding our grand list and making sound financial decisions. I will continue the progress of the past four years as we have overcome unfunded state mandates and poor decisions of previous administrations to lower our mill rate each year.

Critical differences between me and my opponents:

My lifetime of community involvement and volunteerism and my love for our great town. I serve as the 9th district councilman but I work to make the entire town the best it can be for all residents.

Accomplishments:

Prior to my election in 2017, I served the town in many ways including many years on the former Recycling Committee and as chairman for a number of years. I’ve been a member of the Parks & Recreation committee for over 20 years and chairman for the past 4. I’m a past President of Stratford Rotary and of the Stratford Community Fund.

Other issues:

I will continue to help residents with issues brought to my attention. We can’t solve all problems, but we will try to do the best that is possible. We will continue to become a more beautiful town and a more energy efficient community by continuing current initiatives. We will become a town that attracts visitors to our many museums, breweries, forest, and and beaches.

What else would you like voters to know about you?

My love for this town is a driving force that motivates me to help make it a great place to live for those who will be here after I am gone. Voting for me shows confidence and appreciation for all that I try to do for all our residents.
