Now we'd like to ask a few questions about your reasons for running and your general views on politics and government. First, why are you seeking this office?

It’s about giving back ultimately. But also to partner with the mayor and other elected officials to move the town forward.

Please complete this statement: The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is \_\_\_, and this is what I intend to do about it.

Taxes are the most pressing issues facing my constituents.

We can make Stratford a welcoming place for years to come through promoting responsible and readaptive economic development, streamlining and maximizing efficiency in local government, and partnering with Mayor Hoydick and our elected boards, so that we can stabilize and reduce taxes. I will draw on my 25 years of experience at GE working for C-Suite executives to make a difference in Stratford.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I will be your voice of the 6th District … a councilor you can meet and talk to. One of the most important jobs of being on council is to approve a budget and monitor town finances. I pledge to always pass a budget if elected.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?

Partnering with the Board of Education to have efficient and excellent schools for our children.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

Effectively working with all ZBA commissioners to do what’s best for all residents.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?

Be true to yourself and do what you believe is right. The right decisions are not always the popular decisions.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I will always be accessible if I am elected and I will do my very best for District 6 and the town overall.
