Stratford Emergency Crews Deliver Baby In Shopping Center Parking Lot

STRATFORD, CT — Members of the Stratford Emergency Medical Service made a special delivery Sunday afternoon when they helped deliver a baby girl in a shopping center parking lot, according to officials.

“A huge shoutout to Paramedic Supervisor Rodican, Paramedic Biasotti, and EMT Clarke assisted by Stratford first Responders, who helped welcome a baby girl into the world this afternoon—right in a shopping center parking lot,” officials wrote in a post on the Stratford EMS Facebook page. “After delivery, Mom and baby were safely received at a local hospital.

“Outstanding work to all and congratulations to the family!”
