The new school year is right around the corner, and soon our children will be heading down sidewalks with backpacks and lunch boxes, eager to see their friends and learn.
To help get them there safe, Stratford hires crossing guards. And the town currently has openings that start at $11 an hour. The crossing guard job is about 10 to 15 hours per week, and uniforms will be provided.
