Stratford Library Offers Hoopla for Free Movies, TV Shows
Town residents able to download media to mobile devices and computers

The Stratford Library has announced public availability of thousands of movies and television shows, all available for mobile and online access through a new partnership with Hoopla digital. Hoopla digital is a category-creating service that partners with public libraries across North America to provide online and mobile access to thousands of movies and TV shows. With Hoopla digital, patrons can borrow, instantly stream and download free dynamic content with a valid library card. All content is accessible via Hoopla Digital’s mobile app (available in the Google Play Store, iOS App Store, and Amazon App Store) and online at www.hoopladigital.com.
Stratford card holders can now download the free Hoopla digital mobile app on their Android or iOS device to begin enjoying thousands of titles – from major Hollywood studios and network television – available to borrow for instant streaming or temporary downloading to their smartphones, tablets, computers and Apple TV.
“Our mission is to empower our citizens and enrich the community by expanding access through innovation, ideas and inspiration,” said Library Director Barbara Blosveren. “With Hoopla digital we’re able to do just that by providing a wide range of content to enrich every aspect of our patron’s lives. The new service is free of charge, as well as digital, so there is no waiting period for popular titles and Hoopla’s automatic return means no late fees.”
