Stratford Man Accused Of Leaving Baby Home Alone To Go Drinking

STRATFORD, CT — A Stratford man is accused of leaving his baby daughter at home alone to go out drinking, according to the Connecticut Post.

Stephen Shapiro, 33, on Jan. 30 left the 15-month-old by herself with the door of his Peters Lane home unlocked, the Post reported. Shapiro is charged with risk of injury to a child, although he told the Post the charges are "completely false." His next court date is March 9.
