Stratford Man Arrested for Alleged Robbery in Shelton Parking Lot
The man grabbed a victim by the head and pulled out a pellet gun, police said.

A Stratford man was arrested in connection with a November 2014 incident where two people were robbed in a Shelton parking lot.
Cyril Kelsaw, 22 was arrested on May 5. He was incarcerated at the time of his arrest and charged with first-degree robbery, conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery, first-degree strangulation, first-degree threatening, carrying a facsimile firearm and sixth-degree larceny.
According to police, in the incident reported in November a 20-year-old male victim and a 21-year-old female victim were waiting in a car to meet Kelsaw in the Sport Center of Connecticut parking lot located in Shelton.

Kelsaw entered the backseat of the vehicle, grabbed the male’s head from behind and pulled out a gun demanding their belonging, police said. A second suspect later identified as Dontay Walker, of Stratford then approached the vehicle and took the female victim’s purse and phone.
According to police, both suspects then tried to open the driver’s door, but the male was able to slam the door and drive away.

Walker was arrested in December for his involvement in the incident.
Shelton Police Department Detectives were able to recover both the vehicle and the gun used by the suspects. It was determined the gun used in the robbery was a pellet gun.
