Stratford Man Faces Jail Time After Leaving Wallet at Scene of Crime: Report
A Superior Court jury found the man guilty of robbery and threatening charges this week.

STRATFORD, CT — A robbery suspect who left his wallet and ID at the scene of the crime faces up to 20 years in prison, according to the Connecticut Post.
Daniel Tepfer of the Post reports Garyl Alexis, 28, of Stratford, was found guilty by a Superior Court jury this week on charges of first-degree robbery and second-degree threatening and is scheduled to be sentenced in March.
Alexis was arrested shortly after he was accused of robbing a friend who had invited him over to his house to smoke marijuana. The friend told police that Alexis pulled a gun on him and stole two ounces of marijuana from him before fleeing, but left his wallet behind, according to the Post.
