Stratford Official Arrested On DUI Charge: Police
The elected official is accused of driving under the influence, according to a report.
STRATFORD, CT — A member of the Stratford Zoning Commission is accused of driving under the influence, according to the Connecticut Post.
Dion J. Francis, 48, was arrested early Saturday morning and charged with operating under the influence of alcohol/drugs, failure to obey stop sign and traffic control signals, according to police records. He was arrested around 1:15 a.m. in the area of Stratford Avenue and Beardsley Avenue.
Police said Francis was seen going through a stop sign and later a red light, according to the Post.
