Stratford Resident Stickers To Be In Car Tax Bill

Officials are advising residents to be on the lookout for the stickers, which provides access to Short Beach, Long Beach and more.

STRATFORD, CT — (From Stratford Mayor’s Office): Stratford residents who are up-to-date with their taxes in the Town of Stratford will receive their 2023-2025 resident sticker with their car tax bill being mailed out this Friday, June 30.

Mayor Laura Hoydick advises residents to be on the lookout for the bill from the Town in early July. Residents with leased vehicles will receive a separate mailing with their sticker inside. The sticker will have the vehicle license plate number on it for verification, and provides access to Short Beach, Long Beach, Roosevelt Forest, and the Transfer Station.

Current resident stickers will be valid through July 15, 2023, in order to give residents time to receive their car tax bill in the mail and adhere the sticker to their car for use.

Residents with a secondary home in Stratford may receive one sticker per household by bringing a copy of their paid property taxes and car registration to Stratford Recreation department at 468 Birdseye Street.

Additionally, replacement stickers may be purchased for $25 by going to Stratford Recreation. Residents must provide a valid driver’s license and car registration to purchase a replacement.
