Stratford Residents Finish 2022 Boston Marathon

STRATFORD, CT — Two Stratford runners competed in the 2022 Boston Marathon on Monday. Nearly 25,000 runners finished the marathon, including more than 350 from Connecticut.

Everett Hackett, 32, of Hartford, was the top Connecticut runner at 50th place with an official time of 2:24:56. Laura Pierce, 40, of Woodbridge, placed 127th among women and 2,251st overall with a time of 2:55:41.

Kayla Zwirko, 30, of Stratford, finished the race with an official time of 5:12:15, while Jarrod Zwirko, 40, also finished in 5:12:15, according to the Boston Athletic Association.
