Stratford Rolls Past North Haven In Home Opener
The Stratford High School boys basketball team will play in its holiday tournament on Dec. 28.
STRATFORD, CT — The Stratford High School boys basketball team rolled past North Haven, 62-38, in its home opener on Wednesday night.
The Red Devils dominated the first quarter and led 21-4 heading into the second quarter. Stratford’s full-court press and tenacious defense proved to be too much for the Nighthawks.
Jzhaun Davis led Stratford with 14 points, while Jayquan Kirkland and Brady Knorr added 13 points apiece. Alex Mocarski also grabbed 11 rebounds.

The Red Devils will next play in the holiday tournament at Stratford High School starting Dec. 28 with Trumbull vs. Joel Barlow at 5 p.m. and Stratford vs. Morgan at 7 p.m. The consolation game will be held at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 29, followed by the championship game at 7 p.m.
