The coaches also had plenty of help from both current and former Stratford High baseball players, Stratford police officers involved in the Stratford PAL program, and plenty of staff from the Stratford Recreation Department.
The 75 kids participating from Stratford and other areas towns were comprised of a peewee group (ages 6 to 8), an intermediate group (ages 9 to 11), and an elder group (ages 12 & 13). All campers were supplied with camp T-shirts and treated on the last day by a visit from an ice cream truck.
