Stratford School Closed For Days After 2nd Coronavirus Case
Students at Second Hill Lane School will do distance learning until Thursday, according to the superintendent.
STRATFORD, CT — Students at one Stratford school will be learning from home for much of the week after a second staff member came down with what is likely the coronavirus.
An employee at Second Hill Lane School tested positive last week for the virus and a second staffer has since been found to have a probable case, Superintendent Janet Robinson confirmed in an email.
The first employee to be diagnosed was quarantined and was never in school after virus exposure. In the wake of the second probable case, Second Hill Lane students will attend school remotely until Thursday, according to Robinson, rather than following the district’s hybrid plan of two days per week in the classroom and three days at home.
