Stratford Store Has Liquor Permit Suspended
The store sold to a minor, according to the state liquor control commission.
STRATFORD, CT — A Stratford store will have its liquor permit suspended after selling to a minor, according to a document from the state liquor control commission. Barnum Wine & Spirits paid a $500 fine and its permit will be suspended Oct. 9, according to the commission. In addition to selling to an underage customer, the business at 1340 Barnum Ave. also did not hang its permit in plain view, the document said.
