Stratford Store Has Liquor Permit Suspended

The business will have its liquor permit suspended after the retailer violated multiple state statutes.

STRATFORD, CT — A store in Stratford has been barred from selling alcohol for one day later this year by the state Liquor Control Commission. Windsor Package Store, 3700 Main St., paid a $1,000 fine and will have its liquor permit suspended Dec. 26 after the business violated multiple state statutes, according to the Department of Consumer Protection. The store disobeyed statutes pertaining to sale to minors, the permit holder's name appearing on appropriate signage and improper price display.
