Stratford Tops Amity, Rolls Past New Fairfield: Boys Basketball
The Red Devils picked up two more wins heading into an SWC showdown with Notre Dame-Fairfield on Monday night.
STRATFORD, CT — Jayquan Kirkland scored 27 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Stratford boys basketball team to a 63-58 victory over Amity at Stratford High School on Saturday.
Mike Olivencia had a great game for the Red Devils with 20 points and Brady Knorr added 10.
Martin Zhang led Amity with 23 points.

The Red Devils improved to 12-3 and will face their biggest challenge of the season at home on Monday against Notre Dame-Fairfield, which is currently undefeated in the South-West Conference.

Stratford 58, New Fairfield 35: The Red Devils team ran past New Fairfield, 58-35, last Thursday night to improve to 11-3.
The Red Devils took the lead early and never looked back.
Three players were in double figures for Stratford. Brady Knorr led the way with 19 points, while Jzhaun Davis had 16, and Jayquan Kirkland added 13.
