STRATFORD, CT — Stratford's Democrat primary will be held Sept. 10 from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. as a number of Town Council candidates vie for spots on the ballot in November.

Paul Tavaras, who was endorsed by the Stratford Democratic Town Committee in July, is running in District 3 against Michael H. Singh, who has sought a seat on the council several times in the past, according to the Connecticut Post. Incumbent District 5 council member Greg Cann, who was also endorsed by the town committee, is being challenged by Allison Longo-Taccogna. In District 6, committee-endorsed candidate Harold Watson is up against Prez Palmer, who won the Democrat primary for the district in 2017, the Connecticut Post reported.

Here is a sample ballot from the Secretary of the State office.
