Stratford Woman Arrested After Alleged Road Rage Incident with Cyclist

The woman allegedly chased down a bicyclist and beat him with a baseball bat.

A Stratford woman was arrested after she allegedly chased down a bicyclist and hit him with a baseball bat after a passerby said he threw a rock at her car.

It all started when Andrew Brown, 45, of Wiklund Avenue was driving through the Captain’s Pizza parking lot on Saturday in Bridgeport when she almost struck a Angel Ramos, 28, according to the Connecticut Post. She yelled at him.

She went into the restaurant and a passerby said that Ramos threw a rock at her car, according to police. She then allegedly got in her car and chased him down to a gas station. He dropped his bike and took off on foot while she ran over his bike and then chased him on foot, bat in hand, police said. She began hitting him with the bat.

She was charged with third-degree assault, first-degree reckless endangerment breach of peace and criminal mischief.
