Stratford Woman Killed in Crash on Route 8 Shelton
The crash closed down the highway for most of the day Thursday.
A Stratford woman was killed in the crash on Route 8 in Shelton on Thursday, NBC Connecticut reports.
According to NBC, Caroline Walls, 62 was traveling on Route 8 North when she lost control of the car and crossed into the southbound lanes, colliding with another car.
She was taken to Bridgeport Hospital where she died.

The other driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to St. Vincent’s hospital, according to NBC.
The crash is under investigation.
