Stratford's Krajcik Earns Northeast-10 All-Academic Team Honors
Krajcik is a sophomore on the SCSU women's swimming and diving team.

Stratford’s Katherine Krajcik, a sophomore on the Southern Connecticut State University women’s swimming and diving team, has been named to the Northeast-10 Conference All-Academic Team for her work in the pool and in the classroom.
Krajcik, a Bunnell grad, registered six top-13 efforts at the NE-10 Championships, including a pair of runner-up finishes. She placed second as part of the 800 yard freestyle relay (7:45.22), second as part of the 400 yard freestyle relay (3:32.34), fourth as part of the 400 yard medley relay (3:59.90), seventh in the 100 yard freestyle (54.87), 11th in the 50 yard freestyle (25.26) and 13th in the 200 yard freestyle (1:57.97) at the Northeast-10 Championship.
She then followed that up with four top-seven efforts at the Metropolitan Championships. There, she took third as part of the 800 yard freestyle relay (7:54.06), fourth as part of the 200 yard freestyle relay (1:38.47), fourth as part of the 400 yard freestyle relay (3:34.99) and eventh as part of the 200 yard medley relay (1:52.61).
To be eligible for selection to the academic teams, a student-athlete must have met and/or exceeded the following minimum requirements: participated in at least half of the team’s competitions and be either a starter or significant contributor; achieved a 3.3 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale); and completed at least one academic year at his/her current institution.
