The disaster at the train station part 3

  1. Gary J M McTrottes June 20 It’s a bright and somewhat cool Friday afternoon and you wanted to do lunch at the Station House Wine Bar and Grill.
    Forget About It.
According to my spies, the F.U.B.A.R. from the state D.O.T. along with two large trucks showed up in front of the restaurant shortly before noon today to begin digging up the ground in the roundabout in front of the restaurant.
Apparently they were digging for oil,... old septic tanks or something that involved bringing in these big mother sucking trucks that would suck whatever was buried in the ground out.
In the real world, the bright light F.U.B.A.R’s would have made a normal decision and done the work before or after the lunch hour to give Anthony Fidaleo, the owner and operator of the restaurant a small, a very small chance to recover some of the money and customers he is losing every day the F.U.B.A.R’s are at work in the area of the restaurant.
If it was my restaurant and the F.U.B.A.R.’s pulled some of the “operations” need to do it right now crap I would be on the phone to the Mayor’s office (closed for the day) or the Governor’s office (all out watching the golf tournament) and demanded some help before I called the lawyers, and a press conference.
One wonders what the F.U.B.A.R.’s will do for the dinner crowd, decided to dig up a gas main or something smelly that will really drive the customers away.
Apparently as the roundabout was dug up, a crowd of not one, not two, not three, not four, but five of the F.U.B.A.R.s watched the digging.
I am told the F.U.B.A.R.’s with the white helmets and the yellow vests with the DOT on the back are the one’s in charge in case anyone is planning an attack.
Again if it was my restaurant ,I would have one of my more attractive wait staff bring cold drinks to the F.U.B.A.R.’s well laced with visine.
Then there would be a real need for a septic tank.
Fidaleo should be seeking some type of financial compensation from the state and the town for all of the misery he has to deal with.
Hint to Tony: do not stand too close to that person who could not run a business but is allegedly running for office and keeps telling people in town this major F.U.B.A.R. will be good for the town.
Space junk, falling rocks from space, drone’s, hellfire missiles and Mr. Weatherbe are accurate but not that accurate.
Only in Stratford, only in Stratford.
    Semper Fi!
