Two Roads Brewing Co. Withdraws Beers Due To 'Sulfur-Like' Smell
The beers also have a bad taste and may have an unusually hazy appearance.

STRATFORD, CT — Two Roads Brewing Co. has decided to voluntarily withdraw two of its beers after recent batches of the beverages were reported to have an unpleasant taste and sulfur-like smell, according to a Facebook post from the brewery.
The affected beers include cans of Lil' Heaven and Lil' Juicy that were packaged in August and September. In addition to the bad taste and smell, Lil' Heaven may also have an unusually hazy appearance, the brewery said. There are no health or safety risks associated with consuming either beer, according to Two Roads.
The affected batches have the following package dates on the bottom of the cans:

- Lil’ Heaven 12-pack cans from package dates of 8/21/19 to 9/14/19;
- Lil’ Heaven six-pack cans from package dates of 8/21/19 to 9/14/19;
- Lil’ Heaven 16-ounce cans from package dates of 8/23/19 to 9/13/19;
- Lil’ Juicy 16-ounce cans from package dates of 8/20/19 to 9/11/19;
- Variety 12-Pack Beer Bus from package code of BBE 08DEC19 and BBE 09DEC19.
"We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused our Two Roads beer drinkers," the company said in the Facebook post.
Fresh beer will be packaged starting in October, at which time Two Roads will begin working to replace the products. The brewery said its quality assurance team has instituted new protocols to prevent similar situations in the future.

Customers who are in possession of the affected packages can exchange them for a full refund. To do so, go to tworoadsbrewing.com/contact#product.
