Vehicle Crashes Into 2 Houses In Stratford: Fire Officials

The driver was hospitalized after the crash, according to officials.

STRATFORD, CT — A vehicle crashed into two homes Monday morning in Stratford, according to fire officials.

The crash happened near the intersection of Stonybrook Road and Success Avenue, according to officials.

Officials said the occupants of the houses weren’t injured, and the driver was taken to an area hospital.

“Members checked the houses to confirm no one else was injured or trapped, stabilized the vehicle, and assisted with removal of the vehicle,” officials wrote in a post on the Stratford Professional Firefighters IAFF 998 union’s Facebook page. “E1, Tac 5, Truck 1, and Car 3 operated.”
