STRATFORD, CT — Aquarion is reporting an unscheduled outage due to a water main break on Turtle Run Drive in Stratford, according to Mayor Laura Hoydick. The estimated repair time is four to six hours.
About 50 customers are currently affected, according to Aquarion. The streets affected are parts of Fiddler Green Road, Smoke Valley Drive and Turtle Run Drive.
”During and after the outage event, some customers may experience discolored water,” according to a post on the Aquarion website. “You may want to use stored water for drinking and cooking, and delay clothes washing until water is clear. Run your cold water faucet until the water appears clear, prior to resuming use for these purposes.”
