The Watermark to Host Seminar "All About Sodium"
Public invited to learn more about how much is too much and alternative ways to spice foods
On Friday, July 15, The Watermark at 3030 Park will host a free seminar entitled, “All About Sodium.” The event will be held at 2:30 at the retirement community, located at 3030 Park Avenue on the Bridgeport-Fairfield town line.
The guest speaker for this event will be Carly Smolick, a registered dietician who works at The Watermark. Smolick will discuss appropriate sodium levels for people of all ages in addition to describing the (surprisingly) high sodium content in some unlikely common foods. She’ll also provide tips and tricks for getting the most flavor out of your food without using salt.
Smolick will also be available to answer questions from the audience following her presentation.
