Winter Storm Notices Issued In Stratford
Officials announce a parking ban and other notices for residents in anticipation for Friday's expected winter storm.

STRATFORD, CT — (From Town Hall): A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for the entire state from 1 a.m. Friday until 7 p.m. Friday. Snow is expected to begin late Thursday night or early Friday morning and conclude Friday afternoon. Snowfall could exceed 1 inch per hour at times. Total accumulation for our region is estimated between 3 and 6 inches. Travel can be difficult and hazardous conditions could impact the Friday morning commute.

PARKING BAN

In anticipation of inclement winter weather beginning overnight, we are instituting a Parking Ban in Stratford effective 12:01 a.m. Friday morning, Jan. 7, until 8 a.m. Saturday morning, Jan. 8, to facilitate snow removal. Residents should park on the odd-numbered side of the street.

At this time, all Town offices are scheduled to remain open as regularly scheduled.
TRASH COLLECTION
At this time, all trash collection will take place as regularly scheduled.

Those with medical devices such as oxygen should contact their service providers today to ensure they have what they need during the storm.
