'Before You Text': Internet Safety Group Being Offered to Stratford Parents and Students

Stratford Community Services is offering a social media safety group to Stratford's 7th, 8th, and 9th grade parents and students.

Stratford Community Services is offering Before You Text, a program for Stratford’s 7th, 8th, & 9th grade parents and students. Before You Text educates and encourages family communication about social media and technology. Learn about such topics as the social-emotional impact of cyberbulling, sexting, and harassment as well as promoting safe technology use with youth.

The group is FREE of cost and will take place on Wednesday September 30th, 2015 from 6:30-8:00PM at Birdseye Municipal Complex, 468 Birdseye St. Stratford. Supper will be made available.
