Accomplishments By College Students From Suffield: Spring 2023

SUFFIELD, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire. More great feats will be noted in the coming weeks.

Bryant University, Smithfield RI

• Bryant University is pleased to recognize the students who have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to academic excellence and achievement and have been named to the spring 2023 Dean's List. Honorees from Suffield are Dylan Gazdik and Adam McDonagh. To earn a place on the Dean's List students must have a GPA of 3.4 or better for at least 12 semester hours of work.

Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• More than 850 Eastern Connecticut State University students graduated in the 2022-23 academic year. The University's undergraduate ceremony occurred May 16 at the XL Center in Hartford. Amanda Litvak of Suffield graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminology and a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science; Grace Mangiameli of Suffield graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in sport & leisure management; and Connor Armstrong of West Suffield graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in liberal studies.

University of Hartford, West Hartford CT

• The University of Hartford congratulates six students from Suffield who have been named to the President's Honors List for spring 2023: Katherine Burgan, Brianna Chernik, Manny Meleounis, Matthew Skoczylas, Sarah Sprinthall and Gabrielle Zeller. The President's Honors List is made up of an extremely select group of students who earned a grade point average of 3.75 or higher in the semester.

University of Vermont, Burlington VT

• Alyssa Zawawi of Suffield graduated from the University of Vermont with a bachelor's degree in natural resources.

Western New England University, Springfield MA

• Western New England University recently named over 540 students to the spring 2023 President's List. Suffield residents making the prestigious list were Abigail Bahl, majoring in psychology; Alexander Camacho, majoring in electrical engineering; Alexandria Jones, majoring in health sciences; Amanda Arendt, majoring in psychology; Katerina Varholak, majoring in sport management; and Korissa Dugay, majoring in neuroscience.
