SUFFIELD, CT — Classic vehicles, live music and an outdoor showing of "Grease" will take over the Suffield Town Green on Saturday during the town's Ride and Roll Vehicle Show and Movie.
The free event runs from 5 to 8 p.m., with the movie beginning at 8:30 p.m. Patrick Tobin & the Dirty Martini Band will perform Frank Sinatra hits as part of the evening's 1950s-themed celebration.
Organizers said the event will include a parade and showcase of classic cars, trucks, Jeeps, motorcycles, muscle cars, antiques and custom-built vehicles, along with local food trucks. The gathering will also celebrate America's 250th anniversary and Suffield's new bandstand.
Vehicle owners can register to participate with a $10 donation per vehicle, benefiting the Suffield Community Services Kitchen Fund. Admission is free, and attendees can also make donations to the fund.
