SUFFIELD, CT — Four craft beverage producers are joining forces at a Suffield brewery, bringing their products together under one roof while an Enfield taproom prepares to close.
Broad Brook Brewing Company's location at 915 South Street will become The Taproom at Suffield this fall. The new operation will feature Broad Brook, Powder Hollow Brewery, Libation Artisan Beverages and Amherst Brewing.
The taproom will offer more than 20 rotating beers, along with its full food menu. Plans also call for special releases, art workshops, seasonal celebrations and other community events, according to an announcement from Broad Brook Brewing.
The companies described the partnership as a new chapter for the region's craft-beverage industry. Powder Hollow said in response to the announcement that the producers will brew together at the Suffield facility.
The move will coincide with the closing of Powder Hollow's taproom on Hazard Avenue in Enfield, where the brewery has operated for 12 years. Its final day there will be Oct. 10.
Powder Hollow plans to continue holding live music, book clubs and seasonal events in Enfield until the closing. Its taproom inside Yankee Candle Village in South Deerfield, Massachusetts, will remain open.
Broad Brook Brewing opened in East Windsor in 2013 before moving to its larger Suffield brewery, restaurant and taproom. The South Street facility includes two brewing systems, a full kitchen, indoor seating and a covered patio.
An exact opening date for The Taproom at Suffield has not been announced.
