Suffield Family Rallies Around 7-Year-Old Battling Cancer (patch.com) — Suffield residents are being asked to support 7-year-old Lincoln Scott, who is beginning a two-year treatment plan after being diagnosed with T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma. His family has launched a GoFundMe to ease mounting expenses so they can focus on his care, and they're grateful for donations, prayers, and shares from the Suffield community.
2. Suffield Players New Season (thesuffieldobserver.com) — Suffield theater lovers can catch the psychological thriller "Angel Street (Gaslight)" at historic Mapleton Hall this October, with evening shows and Sunday matinees in town. Tickets are discounted on opening night, and the production kicks off a full Suffield Players season running through May with holiday shows and additional comedies and dramas planned.
3. Public Notice from Suffield Public Schools (thesuffieldobserver.com) — Former Suffield students who received special education services before July 2019 have a limited window to claim their records before the district destroys them under state and federal rules. If you or your child may be affected, you must contact Suffield Public Schools' Special Services office by October 15 to request copies.
4. SVAA Marks 50 Years of Service with Anniversary Gala (thesuffieldobserver.com) — Suffield residents are invited to help celebrate 50 years of the Suffield Volunteer Ambulance Association at a November 21 gala supporting future EMS facilities, equipment, and infrastructure. The group is seeking silent auction donations, sponsors, and selling a limited number of community tickets, giving locals a way to honor past service while strengthening emergency care at home.
