Suffield, CT. (August 3, 2011) - Executive Valet Parking, Bradley International Airport’s leading off-airport parking facility broke ground on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at 10 a.m. The new facility is located at 1186 South Street (Route 75) in Suffield.

In attendance were Suffield’s First Selectman Tom Frenaye, Selectwoman Joanne Sullivan, and Economic Director of Suffield Patrick McMahon, all of whom are confident Executive Valet’s new facility is poised for success. They also credited Piccolo for choosing to go with local companies for the construction.

The new facility will sit on 17.8 acres, a huge increase from its old 4 acre property, and will boast 1,168 parking spaces. The new facility will create a 20 percent increase in jobs, and will employ state-of-the-art technology, including eco-friendly electric charging capabilities.
Guy Piccolo, owner and President of EVP has operated the lot since 1998, and prior to that owned and operated Piccolo’a Valet in Windsor Locks since 1975. “This project has been nearly five years in the making and we are four weeks ahead of schedule,” according to Piccolo, “and I couldn’t have done it without being surrounded the best people any one could hope for: General Manager Christine Roy, Vice President Nancey Romanelli, Director of Marketing and Sales Steve Lepow, and Director of Web Development Jack Lambert.”
