Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• Eastern's annual graduation ceremony was held at the XL Center in Hartford on May 15, with more than 12,000 family members and friends cheering on their sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, as 1,105 undergraduates and 85 graduate students received their diplomas. Julie Bianchi of West Suffield graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Sport & Leisure Management. Michele D'Agata of West Suffield graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Sport & Leisure Management.

Western New England University, Springfield MA

• Western New England University congratulates more than 700 students who received their academic degrees. Graduates from Suffield were: Benjamin Cushing, summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Accounting and Finance; Anthony DeVita, cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering; Lindsay Kaselouskas, summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Psychology; Mark Plourde, graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Business Administration; Mark Shelanskas, Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering; and Brandon Velasquez, cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronics Concentration.
