Bowling Buddies had a Blast at Game, Dinner and Fellowship Night!

Bowling Buddies Group Outings 2019!

Members of the Parks and Recreation Bowling Buddies group had a blast last night at our Game, Dinner and Fellowship Night. After enjoying a variety of Games including Bingo and Jenga in the Parks and Recreation activity room, the group headed down to have dinner at Subway and then attended the very fun evening at the Fellowship night. The Fellowship night is a ton of fun filled with laughter, smiles, songs and camaraderie. Jean Aldrich-Jones plays the best songs on the piano while the group sings along. After we sing a variety of positive songs, the volunteers lead the group into an enjoyable and useful craft. Last night we made calendars with the dates of the upcoming Fellowship nights. (Which are held the second Monday of each month from September through June. The next ones will be Monday's-October 14, November 11, December 9-Santa Party!, January 13, February 10, March 9, April 13, May 11, June 8-with a Prom! from 6:30-7:30 p.m.) The nights out activities and the Fellowship nights offer positive socialization, exercise and tons of fun! This is a fantastic collaboration with 2nd Baptist Church volunteers-led by last night by Jean Aldrich- Jones, Tina Berrien, Gail Davis and The Parks and Recreation Department. The Bowling Group is looking forward to our season kickoff tonight at Spare Time lanes too!
