For the first few days or maybe even weeks of the New Year you start on the right path but soon enough with the everyday pressures of life your old habits start to come back and you get out of your healthy living routine before you know it.
2013 is upon us and the New Year offers us a chance to start fresh. The best way to stick to your fitness and health goals is by making a commitment and making sure to set time aside for yourself so you can follow through each day. One of the best ways to really make that commitment work is by participating in a great class or program with others to achieve your goal.

Description: Initial measurements (weight, body composition, and circumference) are scheduled for January 5 at 10:00 a.m. If you can not make this date, please make an appointment with Unique Fitness Staff to get this done before the start date of January 6th! During the 12 weeks there will be weekly weigh-ins, weekly physical (members only) and nutrition challenges, and weekly fit tips. Measurements will be taken again at the 6 week mark and then final measurements will be taken on the last (12th) week of the challenge to determine who is the "Biggest Loser". Limited enrollment. Registration deadline is Wednesday, January 2 and/or when the program is full.
Sunday Fun Day Workout

Description: High energy, muscle conditioning class that tones and strengthens your entire body. The class will incorporate the use of dumbbells, exercise balls, and many body weight movements. The class will include a constant pace with high repetitions, to maintain a healthy heart rate. Take a Sunday stroll down to Unique Fitness to start your week off on the right foot! Limited enrollment.

"Power Yoga"

Description: Power Yoga is a style of yoga that focuses on core strength, balance and flow. It is a faster Vinyasa style where poses flow into one another. The class is challenging, playful, athletic, and set to upbeat music to encourage and inspire yogi's and those who would like to experience the fitness benefits of a Power Yoga workout. Limited enrollment.

Description: Get in shape for spring! Did you know you should be walking 10,000 steps a day? Let’s enjoy the beautiful winter weather, get motivated and go on a lunch time walk. All levels and abilities welcome. We will go over warming up, fitness walking and have a fun afternoon! We will walk rain, snow or shine so please bring proper gear and bundle up!! If you are a snowshoer and conditions are right, please bring snowshoes! Even if you only have a half hour at lunch, come and get some exercise! PRIZES will be given for the most dedicated walkers!!
