One Lane Open After Route 187 Crash

A single-car accident at the Massachusetts state line has affected traffic on North Grand Street.

Suffield, CT - North Grand Street has been narrowed to one (alternating) lane while utility crews replace a pole following a single-car crash early Wednesday morning.

Suffield police received a call at 2:47 a.m. of a motor vehicle accident in the area of 1660 North Grand Street in West Suffield, Lt. Richard Brown said.

Subsequent investigation determined that Kyle Therrien of Feeding Hills, Mass. was operating his 2005 Jeep Wrangler when he left the roadway and struck a utility pole, Brown said.

Therrien was transported to Baystate Hospital for treatment.
