Town Offers Trip to see Tall Ships in Boston

The Suffield Parks and Recreation Department will host a bus trip to see the tall ships of Boston in July.

The tall ships are coming to Boston in the early summer and the Suffield Parks and Recreation Department has your ticket to ride.

The recreation department will host a bus trip to Boston on Sunday, July 1 to see the ships, which will be docked in Boston Harbor as part of the city's Sail Boston celebration.

The bus will depart from parking lot at 8:45 a.m. that morning and leave Boston to return to Connecticut at 4 p.m. that evening.

The cost is $74 per person and includes the round-trip bus transportation and a narrated cruise through Boston Harbor. There will also be free time at visit the shops at Quincy Market. Meals must be purchased separately.

The deadline for registration is Monday, May 14 or when the trip is full.

All bus trips are on a first-come, first-paid basis. There will be no refunds for the trip unless the trip is canceled. Trips will be held during inclement weather.  Payment and registration must be made in advance at the Suffield Parks and Recreation Department, 230C Mountain Road (first floor).
