Campus Notes - Suffield College Students

SUFFIELD, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Assumption College, Worcester MA

• Assumption College honored 73 students with awards for academic excellence during the 34th Annual Honors Convocation, held on April 23 in the Jeanne Y. Curtis Performance Hall. Awards ranged from departmental honors to special recognitions, to Augustine Scholarships, the College's highest academic honor. During the ceremony, Mariah Peck of Suffield, a member of the Class of 2018, received the departmental award for French.

Coastal Carolina University, Conway SC

• Approximately 1,183 students were eligible to walk in Coastal Carolina University's graduation exercises, held on campus at the HTC Student Recreation Center and Convocation Center in three separate ceremonies May 4-5. Among those students who graduated was Louise Wilson from Suffield, earning a Bachelor of Arts in communication.
