Campus Notes - Suffield College Students

SUFFIELD, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Assumption College, Worcester MA

• On Sunday, May 13, Assumption College awarded 617 degrees during its 101st Commencement exercises held at the DCU Center in downtown Worcester, MA, in which speaker The Most Reverend Robert E. Barron, S.T.D., auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and evangelist who uses various forms of media, in particular social media, to share the Gospel message and one of the most-followed Catholics on social media, delivered the Commencement address. Graduates from Suffield were Mariah Peck and Erin Reynolds.

Bucknell University, Lewisburg PA

• Brennan Tierney, Class of 2020, from Suffield, was named to the dean's list at Bucknell University during the spring semester of the 2017-18 academic year. A student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean's list recognition.
