SUFFIELD, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Clarkson University, Potsdam NY

  • Peter James Connolly of Suffield, a mechanical engineering major, was named to the Dean's List for the fall 2018 semester at Clarkson University. Dean's List students must achieve a minimum 3.25 grade-point average and also carry at least 14 credit hours.

Stonehill College, Easton MA

  • Katie McDonough, from Suffield and a member of the Class of 2019, has been named to the fall 2018 Dean's List at Stonehill College. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must have a semester grade point average of 3.50 or better and must have completed successfully all courses for which they were registered.

Tunxis Community College, Farmington CT

  • Tunxis Community College in Farmington has announced two Suffield residents qualified for the Dean's List for the fall 2018 semester. They are Michelle Haines and Olivia Sagan. Students matriculated in a certificate or degree program who have earned a semester grade point average of 3.4 or higher and have successfully completed 12 or more credits, or have earned 12 credits cumulatively over multiple semesters, are eligible for this academic honor.

University of New Haven, West Haven CT

  • Brigette Gunn, of West Suffield, a student in the College of Arts and Sciences of the University of New Haven has been named to the Dean's List for the fall 2018 semester. Gunn is working on a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Gunn is also pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Sciences of the University of New Haven.
