Campus Notes - Suffield College Students

SUFFIELD, CT — Here are some recent notable achievements for college students from Suffield, as reported by readMedia Newswire.

Coastal Carolina University, Conway SC

• Louise Wilson of Suffield, majoring in communication, was among 1,920 students at Coastal Carolina University who made the spring 2017 Dean's List. To qualify for the Dean's List, freshmen must earn a 3.25 grade point average, and upperclassmen must earn a 3.5 grade point average. To qualify for the President's List, students must earn a 4.0 grade point average. All students must be enrolled full time.

Emmanuel College, Boston MA

• In honor of their outstanding academic achievement, Emmanuel College has named Victoria Hale, Colleen McAnaney and Elisa Welch of Suffield to the Dean's List for the spring 2017 semester. To earn a spot on the Dean's List, Emmanuel students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for a 16-credit semester.

Grove City College, Grove City PA

• A pair of students from Suffield were named to the Dean's List for the spring 2017 semester at Grove City College. Kellen McGann, a PreK-4 Elementary Education major has been named to the Dean's List with High Distinction. Kellen is a 2013 graduate of Suffield High School. Erin McGann, a Business Management major has been named to the Dean's List. Erin is a 2015 graduate of Suffield High School. They are the daughters of John and Melanie McGann from West Suffield.
• Kellen McGann is one of 606 seniors to earn their degree from Grove City College on May 20, 2017. McGann earned a Bachelor of Science degree in PreK-4 Elementary Education and is from West Suffield.

Lasell College, Newton MA

• Lasell College has released the Dean's List for outstanding academic achievement during the spring 2017 semester. A student must earn a semester GPA of 3.5 or higher to receive Dean's List recognition. Suffield students earning this recognition are Connor Mankouski and Emily Dylewski.
