American International College, Springfield MA

  • American International College in Springfield, MA has named 495 students to the fall 2016 Dean's List. Dean's List students are full-time students with a grade point average between 3.3 and 4.0.
    Honorees from Suffield are Hannah Consolini, Chelsea Gervais, Shiane Wilkins and Jenna Wozniak.

Assumption College, Worcester MA

  • Assumption College has announced that 486 students have been named to the college's prestigious undergraduate Dean's List for the fall 2016 semester. To earn a spot on the Dean's List, Assumption students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for a five-class, 15-credit semester. The Dean's List is announced twice per academic year, once at the completion of the fall semester, and again at the completion of the spring semester. Honorees from Suffield are Mariah Peck and Erin Reynolds.

Emmanuel College, Boston MA

  • In honor of their outstanding academic achievement, Emmanuel College has named more than 700 students to the Dean's List for the fall 2016 semester. To earn a spot on the Dean's List, Emmanuel students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for a 16-credit semester. Suffield students on the Dean's List are Gianna Mangiarelli, Colleen McAnaney, Nicole Pare and Elisa Welch.

University of Rhode Island, Kingston RI

  • The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce that 5,401 students have qualified for the fall 2016 Dean's List. The students represent nearly all of Rhode Island's cities and towns, all six New England states, New York and New Jersey, other states and more than 16 countries. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must have completed 12 or more credits during a semester for letter grades with at least a 3.30 quality point average. Part-time students qualify with the accumulation of 12 credits with a 3.30 quality point average. Suffield students honored are Joseph Willliam Barnes, Connor Donahue, Madison Nicole Garrett, Merrill Julia Martin, Olivia Katherine Motherway, Melissa Santi and Taylor Kathleen Schwab.

Western New England University, Springfield MA

  • Western New England University's Stageless Players presented their Fall production of The Servant of Two Masters by Carlo Goldoni as adapted by Constance Congdon, an award-winning playwright and Playwright-in-Residence at Amherst College. The Servant of Two Masters is an Italian comedy written in 1746 and draws from the tradition of commedia of the 16th century, and reforms it as well. Sarah E. Pyfrom-Stephens of Suffield designed the poster and program, while Mark M. Shelanskas of West Suffield was part of the running/stage crew.
