- Asnuntuck Community College has announced that these students from Suffield have achieved Dean’s List status following their spring semester of studies: Valentina Blake, Will Breault, Eric Chagnot, Kenneth Cross, Emily Deren, Melissa Dudzin, Tristan Garcia, Zachary Liquori, Maxwell Mitzel, Michael Mlinek, Alicia Phillips, Keith Preston, Michael Rhodes, Kyle Salters, Carissa Satryb, Kelsey Sullivan, Deanna Theodore and Angelina Vono. Full-time students who are matriculated in a certificate or degree program and who have successfully completed 12 or more credits of work in a semester with a grade point average of 3.4 or above are named to the list. Part-time students who are matriculated in a certificate or degree program are also eligible for such recognition when they have completed 12 or more credits of work with a grade point average of 3.4.

- Suffield resident Kelsey Bentz graduated in May 2018 from Oklahoma State University with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. After attending Suffield High School, she received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Vermont. She spent the last four years at OSU with the last year doing rotations at the OSU Teaching Hospital and doing externships at clinics in upstate New York, North Carolina, and Wisconsin. Dr. Bentz will begin her career at Carolina Equine Hospital in Browns Summit, North Carolina on July 1, 2018.
Western New England University, Springfield MA
- Mark Plourde of West Suffield received the Outstanding Part-time Undergraduate Student Award at the 2018 College of Business Senior Awards Luncheon held in the St. Germain Campus Center at Western New England University. Students receiving this award have achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and are selected for a significant contribution made to the department. Plourde is majoring in Business Administration.
