Champion, Placewinner Pace Suffield at Class S Wrestling Meet
A Wildcat won an individual title and another was a placewinner at the Class S meet at Windham High School.
WINDHAM, CT — A wrestler from Suffield High School emerged as a champion at the Class S championships, which concluded Saturday at Windham High School.
Hunter Adams won the 145 lb. division, capturing a 4-0 decision over Jason Jacaruso of Griswold in the finals. John Nieroda came close at 152 lbs., dropping a 14-2 major decision to Cooper Fleming of Granby Memorial to wind up second.
