Charles H. Buckley, 66, of West Suffield, loving husband of Betty L. (Benefield) Buckley passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, June 13, 2015.
He was born on June 2, 1949, at Rockville hospital in Vernon, the son of the late John and Katherine (Sheridan) Buckley.

Charles lived most of his life in West Suffield. He was a welder operator for over 45 years and owned his own welding business, C&R Welding. Charles enjoyed fishing, camping in Vermont, welding: creating metal artwork, wood stoves, metal scroll work, gardening, and hiking; but most of all he loved spending time with his family.
In addition to her wife of 49 years Betty, he is survived by a daughter, Rebecca L. Buckley of West Suffield, five grandchildren Brianna Nickerson and her husband, Andrew of Windsor Locks, Christopher DeLuco, Skyla, Emilee and Zachary Bolasevich, a great grandson Charles Leon Nickerson and a sister, Katherine M. Kerr and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and nieces and nephews.

Charles was predeceased by a daughter, Charlene R. (Buckley) DeLuco and a sister, Judith Wadsworth.
All services are private. Windsor Locks Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
The family would like to thank the hospice nurses and the health aids of Home & Community Health Services of Enfield and Bright Star of Windsor Locks for all their support and care.
