College Achievements For Suffield Students

SUFFIELD, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire.

Grove City College, Grove City PA

• Erin McGann is one of 578 seniors to earn their degree from Grove City College on May 19, 2018. McGann, from West Suffield, earned a Bachelor of Science degree. She was also named to the Dean's List for the spring 2018 semester. Students eligible for the Dean's List have a GPA of 3.40 to 3.59.

Tunxis Community College, Farmington CT

• Over 80 Tunxis students received awards and scholarships at the 35th Annual “Student Achievement Recognition Ceremony,” held this spring at Tunxis Community College. Close to 80 scholarships and $86,765 in scholarship funds was awarded. Recipients from Suffield were Olivia Sagan (Bencivengo Family Scholarship) and Michelle Haines (Future Passport Scholarships).

University of Delaware, Newark DE

• Delaney Tierney of Suffield has been named to the University of Delaware's Dean's List for the spring 2018 semester. To meet eligibility requirements for the Dean's List, a student must be enrolled full-time and earn a GPA of 3.33 or above (on a 4.0 scale) for the semester.

University of Hartford, West Hartford CT

• The University of Hartford is pleased to announce the following students from Suffield have been named to the Dean's List for spring 2018: Yonina Bykov, Michael Negrut, George Meleounis, John Tittarelli, Shayla Mattesen, Ashley Robidoux, Ross Adams, Peter Klesczewski, Catherine Gleason, Alexandra Lewis, Thomas Currier, Joshua Karam and Dominique Waite.
