Create, Shoot, Edit, Post & More: Practical Content Creation for Small Businesses Workshop with the Suffield Parks and Recreation Department
Are you a small business owner, local nonprofit leader, solopreneur, or building your personal brand? Looking for practical ways to create better content and reach more people?
The Suffield Business Series invites you to Create, Shoot, Edit, Post & More, a hands-on workshop designed to help participants confidently create and share content that connects with their audience. The workshop will be held on Thursday, September 24, from 6:00–7:30 PM.
Participants will learn how to take an idea and turn it into engaging photos, videos, and social media content using a smartphone and easy-to-use tools. The session will focus on practical, DIY-friendly strategies that can be used immediately for a business, nonprofit, organization, or personal brand.

Meet the Instructor: Alyssa Salerno
The workshop will be led by Alyssa Salerno, Media Specialist with The Stephanie Salerno Team at Coldwell Banker Realty. Alyssa will walk participants through the full content creation process, offering practical tips and techniques for creating professional-looking content without complicated equipment or extensive marketing experience.

- Edit using free or low-cost tools
- Post with confidence and consistency
- Create a simple content plan to help content stand out
No marketing background is required, and participants do not need to have attended the previous workshop. This session stands on its own and is open to anyone looking to improve their content creation skills.
The workshop is open to ages 16 and older and is FREE. Small snacks and refreshments will be served.
Enrollment is limited, so participants are encouraged to register early. Registration closes Wednesday, September 23, or earlier if the program reaches maximum capacity.
