Spaulding Elementary and McAlister Intermediate schools will be holding a coin drive to benefit Suffield residents in need of fuel assistance this year. All money raised will be donated to Suffield's Emergency Aid Association.
This project will help our students develop a strong sense of caring, respect and commitment to each other and to our community. Coins will be donated to Suffield’s Emergency Aid Association (EAA) with the help of The First National Bank of Suffield. If families wish to contribute, please donate any loose change or dollar amount you may have during the dates above.
Families can also participate at home on Friday, February 11 for The Big Chill. During this day, students have the option of saving heat at home by turning their thermometer down a degree or two. On this day, students will have a Hat for Heat Day and may wear a hat to school to show their support.
